The group was formed by Cube Entertainment in the year 2012 performing on M Countdown “Insane” and “Imagine”. The first full lengths album of the group was released in the year 2015 named ‘complete’. The group made their Japanese debut in November 2014 with ‘wow; song.

The group has received multiple vocal awards for their debut album including the ‘Best Vocal Group Award’ at the 30th Golden Disc Awards and a ‘Ballad Award’ at the 25th Seoul Music Awards.

9. INFINITE

INFINITE - Most Popular Kpop Boy Groups in 2018

The band was formed in the year 2010 by Woollim Entertainment. Their first full album named ‘over the top’ was released on July 2011. Followed by the mini album release of ‘new challenge’ with record breaking number of sold copies as high as 160,000 copies in March 2013 which turns out to be the best-selling albums of 2013. Their second full album, Season 2, was released in May 2014.

Big Bang, a 5 members Korean hip-hop boy band debuted under YG Entertainment label and has a fandom name ‘VIP’.  Big Bang released their first single ‘Bigbang’ in 2006 with many tracks including ‘ We belong together’ in which remained in the top charts for eight months.

Another legendary group by YG entertainment in the year 2015. The group was first introduced in the reality survival program WIN: Who is next as “Team B.” the name of the group has the purpose for becoming an Icon for Korea.

The group made their debut on 15 September 2015 with the digital release of their first single “My Type” from their first studio album ‘Welcome Back’.

On 24 September, “My Type” achieved a ‘triple crown’ on the Gaon chart for taking number one spot for digital, download, and streaming charts simultaneously for the 39th week of 2015. Their first broadcast live performance was on 15 October 2015, on SBS’s Inkigayo.

GOT7 contained 7 talented membered and was formed by JYP entertainment in the January 2014 with the release of their first ‘EP Got It?’ which has been at number two on the Gaon Album Chart and number one on Billboard’s World Albums Chart.

EXO is a very famous boy group in Korea which currently has 9 members. They have a very powerful fandom, EXO-L. Nowadays the group promotes with only 8 members because one of the members who is Chinese was promoting in China.

The group was formed by SM entertainment in the year 2012. the group is segmented into two subgroups namely EXO-K and EXO-M performing music in Korean and Mandarin respectively.
